Samsung's upcoming affordable smartphone – the Galaxy J6 – has received its FCC certification, which in turn has revealed some of its specs.
The display ratio surfaced upon inspecting the screenshots, found in the FCC website. The Galaxy J6 will have a 5.6" display with an aspect ratio of 18:9. Not much else is known about the display at this point, so its resolution and technology (AMOLED or LCD?) are still a mystery.
We got some information about the specs too, thanks to a GeekBench leak. Seems like the processor of choice is the octa-core Exynos 7870, also found in the Galaxy J5 and J7 (2017). The 3 GB of RAM and Android8.0 Oreo, make up the rest of the spec package, or at least what we know of it.
Screenshots from the Galaxy J6 hint at 18 by 9 display ratio
We don't have an official release date for the Galaxy J6, but considering last year's releases to the Galaxy J series, we might get it as early as May.
